Prep basketball: an unlikely title run built on defense
Central's seniors lost eleven games last winter. This season they have given up fewer points than any team in the conference.

Central is allowing 48 points a game, the best mark in the conference, and has won nine straight behind a rotation that goes ten deep.
“Nobody wrote about us in October,” said coach Alvin Pryce. “That was fine. We needed the quiet.”
